"Melt" is the debut album of J Moon, the stage name of Berlin based italian singer-songwriter Jessica Einaudi. 
The album is a journey into a world of mystery and magic in which reality blurs with imagination. A world where animals, lasers, jungles and humans constantly interweave. In this world, there is no distinction between nature and city, between earth and other planets, and daily life elements are ready for adventure at any time. 
This is the meaning of "Melt", going beyond the bounds of imagination and letting the mind be free to roam and find a real connection between things, beings, spaces and universes. 

‘Melt’ is an album of deep shadows and touches of light. Jessica’s voice mesmerizes, seduces, moves sinuous between luminescent electronics, toy instruments, delay.
Electric and acoustic guitars give way to the piano, allowing it to lead the melody or drip away, nocturnal, as the percussions build light but relenteless rhythms.

Drawn out of her Casio keyboard, her piano, her guitar, Jessica’s ‘Melt’, touches on folk, blues, even electronics. Federico Albanese, the other half of her duo La Blanche Alchimie, appears here as producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist companion to Jessica’s sound. Chicago-born Joe Smith joins them on drums and percussions.
The album was recorded at Overhear studio in Berlin, mixed by Tilman Hopf at Chez Chèrie Studio in Berlin and mastered by Francesco Donadello at Calyx Studio in Berlin where Jessica lives and works since 2012.
“Melt” was released october 17th 2014.
